Lakshmi Devi of Bheelon ki Dhaani, a hamlet in the Jodhpur District of Rajasthan. These women were treading a difficult path. A walk of 6 km. sometime did not guarantee them a pot of water. Bathing and washing clothes became a luxury which they could seldom indulge. With the tanka/cistern constructed by DC, clean water is available in their village. Today, she has more time to take part in our development activities and to nurture her children and family.Water becomes an element of empowerment. HOPE DAWNS THROUGH WATER. |
