Rani, 17, is from a small village in Uttar Pradesh. Eldest of 8 siblings, school, to her, remained a distant dream. Much against her wishes she was made the home-maker and care-giver to the younger children from a very tender age. But the yearning for education lingered on, unsatiated.

A visit to her aunt’s house in Madanpur Khadar, Delhi has changed her life. She is now a regular and keen student at our learning centre and tailoring centre.

Her dream is noble and unique. She wants to get back to her village and teach her friends in the village who have never been to school, utilizing her own resources.
