Who We Are
Discipleship Centre (DC) is a registered nonprofit organization working toward the sustainable development of under-resourced communities across India. Rooted in compassion and community participation, DC has brought relief, empowerment, and opportunity to people facing systemic barriers for over five decades—especially women, children, and persons with disabilities.

Rooted in community
Discipleship Centre was established in 1974 with a vision to walk alongside the marginalized — offering hope through education, empowerment, and presence.
Founded – 1974
Expanding with purpose
With growing trust and partnerships, DC expanded into new communities — launching programs in women’s empowerment, livelihood training, education, and disaster response.
Growth – 1995
Adapting with the times
From tsunami recovery to reviving water systems and building disaster resilience, DC continued to innovate while staying rooted in people-first impact.
