Threads of Compassion: Bringing Comfort to Flood-Affected Families
Gadda Colony, Madanpur Khadar | October 2025
In the aftermath of the devastating floods in Gadda Colony, many families were left with nothing but the clothes they wore. Homes were damaged, livelihoods disrupted, and daily life became a struggle for survival.
On 8th October 2025, the Discipleship Centre team returned to the community with one simple mission—to restore dignity through compassion. With the generous support of Blessing Always Trust, we distributed essential clothing to 176 flood-affected individuals, ensuring that each person received something clean, warm, and their own once again.
The gratitude was heartfelt. One elderly woman shared, “All blessings from God will come to you because you helped the poor in their time of greatest need.” Her words reflected what we witnessed across the colony—a sense of relief, hope, and renewed strength.
This clothing drive followed our earlier relief initiatives, where DC provided hot meals and dry rations to affected families. Step by step, these efforts are helping rebuild trust and stability in the community.
The journey to recovery is far from over, but every act of kindness brings families closer to rebuilding their lives.
Join us in extending that hope. Your support can help flood-affected families regain what they’ve lost—and rebuild with dignity.
