Skill Development for Underprivileged Children: A Life-Changing Exposure Visit

On 30th September 2025, 12 young learners from our Kalyanpuri Centre experienced a transformative visit to the TLM Institute in Noida, as part of Discipleship Centre’s “Empowerment through Experience” program. Conducted in partnership with The Leprosy Mission (TLM), this initiative focuses on career guidance, vocational skill development, and real-world exposure for underprivileged children.

With parental consent and full safety measures, our students explored various vocational courses, including computer skills and beauty services, interacted with trainers, and witnessed how these programs equip youth with employable skills. The experience left them motivated, inspired, and ready to take the next step toward building a brighter future.

The upcoming six-month vocational training batch at TLM, starting 6th October 2025, will provide students not only with training but also with placement support to secure meaningful employment. This visit is a vital step in empowering underprivileged youth by connecting them with skill-building opportunities and career pathways.
