On 17th June 2026, the Discipleship Centre organized a magical movie outing for 80 children and 7 staff members from our Kalyanpuri and Madanpur Khadar project Centres. The children were treated to a special screening of “Return of the Jungle” at a theatre in Jasola. This unforgettable excursion was made possible through a generous ticket sponsorship by the film’s production team and extraordinary arrangements by the theatre owner, who wished to honour the Discipleship Centre’s impactful work within marginalized communities.

The initiative blossomed when the film’s production team offered complimentary tickets to provide a unique, joyful experience for children from under-resourced backgrounds. Inspired by this vision, the Discipleship Centre team coordinated with the local theatre management in Jasola.

Upon seeing the official tickets and recognizing our dedicated service to nurturing the “future of tomorrow,” the theatre owner stepped forward with a beautiful gesture: hosting a private, exclusive show solely for our children. Their exceptional hospitality ensured that our group felt deeply valued, safe, and celebrated throughout the day.

Laxmi’s Transformation Laxmi, a young girl from Madanpur Khadar, is usually incredibly quiet and rarely speaks. Yet, today she was the very first to arrive at the centre, bursting with excitement. “I enjoyed it so much!” she shared brightly, adding her new favorite lesson: “We should always stay together with our friends in unity.”
