From a Curious Tiny Girl to a Confident Professional: Anchal’s Journey of Empowerment
Twelve years ago, a beautiful, tiny girl named Anchal stepped through the doors of the Discipleship Centre’s (DC) Madanpur Khadar Project to enroll in the first standard. Full of life and a natural sense of style, she entered a completely new world.
For the staff, the journey began with the very basics of early childhood development—teaching her how to sit patiently in a classroom, how to interact beautifully with others, and introducing her to the fundamentals of alphabets, numbers, colors, animals, and birds.
A Routine Built on Dedication
As Anchal grew, so did her dedication. Her parents held a strong, progressive vision for their daughter: they wanted her to receive a great education so she could truly stand on her own two feet and be independent.
Anchal embraced this dream whole-heartedly. She managed a busy daily routine with remarkable consistency:
- Mornings: She attended her regular morning shift at the government school.
- Afternoons: Instead of going home to rest, she came straight to the DC Centre for extra learning.
The DC staff became her ultimate academic anchor, teaching her all subjects, patiently clearing her doubts, and constantly encouraging her to aim higher.
More Than Academics: Safety, Rights, and Leadership
The Discipleship Centre believes in empowering young girls beyond the pages of a textbook. Recognizing the challenges faced by young women, the staff conducted specialized workshops and training sessions for Anchal.

After completing her 12th standard with good marks, the DC staff provided career counseling to align her natural talents with her professional future. With their backing, Anchal chose to pursue her passion professionally by enrolling in a Beauty and Wellness course at the Industrial Training Institute (ITI).
A Life Shaped by Good Values
Today, Anchal looks back on her 12 years with deep gratitude. She openly shares that if the DC project had not been a part of her life, she might not have developed the strong discipline and excellent moral character she possesses today.
The Discipleship Centre takes immense pride in Anchal. Seeing our children grow from vulnerable village toddlers into morally grounded, independent, and ambitious young professionals who live life with standard and purpose is the greatest reward.
